You will choose your class (just like in Morrowind and Oblivion). Each class has its own Major Skills on which you’ll have to rely (skills which you can level up and on which you can spend perk points) and Minor Skills (skills you can’t level up).
Rising a skill level is also harder and you will soon have to rely on instructors, books and other free skill boosts.
If you start a new game, once you’ll get into the fortress, you’ll be asked which class you want to choose. Your Major Skills will level up by 15 points, and additional 9 perk points will be granted for you to spend.
